Before you gasp at the price- there is a reason for this cost.
This is a beautiful hand-quilted, hand appliqued wall hanging
that has many, many hours of work behind it!
If you look closely at the flowers in her hair, her lips, eyes, and her eyebrows- you will see that there are hundreds of glass beads not plastic beads-that have been painstakingly applied by hand onto the fabric – bead-by-bead.
Even her headband is adorned with a mix of small and large beads that stretch to the scarf on the right side!
Paint sticks were lightly brushed on her face to give her cheeks, nose and her skin tone a very realistic color.
It is by far an extraordinary piece of artistic work!!
It is not known what descent this dark-skinned women is-
your guess is as good as mine. She could be Ethiopian or some
mysterious island girl we read about in a novel!
Her dark eyes are mysterious and make you wonder what she’s thinking about.
Pictures don’t do this work justice!
It is well worth the money and would make a beautiful addition
in your art collection. Think of how striking it will look on your wall!

This is a bright and very pretty hand quilted and machine pieced table runner.
The front of this lovely table runner is made of a very bright blue print that if you look closely,
is actually very small birds on the material. The pink print accentuates the blue very nicely together.
As you can see the back of this table runner is all pink with a strip of the bird
print going across the center of the runner. The material is all cotton and machine washable.
This would look great on the center of anyone’s table.
If you love collecting birds or have some feathered friends
living at home – then you’ll especially love this print!
I think these colors really look great together !
